Singing for Mr. Floyd A mixed media/re-purposed book installation illustrating the lyrics to the Black National Anthem " Lift Every Voice and Sing". Written by James Weldon and Rosamond Johnson to mark the end of slavery. It is the official song for the NAACP. The work is dedicated to George Floyd who was murdered by a police officer in Minneapolis .
